Who can apply?
Students who are enrolled in medical school in Guatemala, El Salvador or Nicaragua
Requirements
- Complete this form
- Be an active medical student at any stage of your studies
- Certificate of enrollment from your current university
- Current certified transcript with all the courses that have been taken to date.
- Not have failed any course
- Have a personal bank account in a local bank with the student’s name
- Detailed budget of monthly expenses (transportation, food, office materials, etc.)
Application Process
Fill out the application form and send it via email to facilitamed.ev@gmail.com
- Your application will be reviewed and presented in the general assembly which takes place twice a year (before the beginning of each semester)
- The final decision regarding your application will be sent via email
- If your application is accepted, we will send a contract that needs to be signed and returned via email
Wire Transfers and Expenses
- It is necessary to have a personal bank account, we will be making a wire transfer at the beginning of each semester to this account
- You will be required to maintain an accurate record of your expenses which will need to be sent to us via email
What kind of help will you get?
- If your application is accepted, you will be awarded a scholarship of 100€ (euro) per month or its equivalent in local currency
- The scholarship will have a maximum duration of 6 years or until you are finished with your studies (whichever comes first)
- Failing any academic courses immediately terminates your scholarship.
